We’re building something different

We’re a British business but we were founded on the unique principles of the ‘mittelstand’ companies of Germany and northern Europe. It’s a business model that emphasises long-term thinking, investment in your workforce and technical excellence.

We modelled this approach, embracing the lean hierarchies, strong customer focus, and flexible, innovative processes that make the mittelstand businesses so successful to work with and to work for.

It’s why we invest heavily in our internal training programmes so that people grow with us and stay with us. We put our profits back into the business by investing in innovative systems that work better for all of us.

And we don’t just think about what impact we have today but what impact we can have in the future – our apprentice schemes and strong connections with our local communities are among the things we’re proudest of.
