On Thursday 11 July delegates joined us for a full day of CPD training at The City Centre, London. Sharing his knowledge of current M&E topics was our Hemlow training expert Dave, who ran three sessions throughout the day followed by a Q&A opportunity.

Topics covered included an overview of air conditioning as well as what to expect from the F-Gas phasedown. Plus, attendees were given the tools to use M&E maintenance to improve their buildings’ energy efficiency and optimise their environments.

The City Centre is also home to a 1:500 scale model of the City of London. Following one of our sessions delegates took part in an interactive introductory demonstration of the model where they were able to hear all about the history of the city’s built environment. The model lights up and includes all buildings under development that have current planning permission, giving a glimpse at the City’s future skyline.

In addition to our London training day, a few weeks prior, delegates had joined us in Birmingham in the Chairman’s Lounge at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium, for a session on the F-Gas Phasedown. After arriving in the lounge where they were able to experience panoramic views of the grounds, we conducted an hour long session on the impact of new refrigerants, covering why the change had come about as well as the action that is now required. Following a Q&A session attendees were then able to participate in a guided tour of the grounds, receiving a behind the scenes experience at Birmingham’s greatest sporting venue.
